studioXO는 건축, 인테리어등 공간 디자인 전분야에 걸쳐 활동하는 디자인스튜디오 입니다. 공간을 다루는데 있어 기존의 방식을 답습하지 않고,공간뿐 아니라 그를 구성하는 재료, 구법등 모든 분야에 걸쳐 새로운 시도를 해 나가고자 하는 목표를 가지고 있습니다. 기존의 것을 그대로 수용하는 자세보다는 일단 의심하고 고민하여 우리의 방식으로 재구성 하는 프로세스를 지향합니다.
어떠한 제한이나 규정이 없어야 한다는 것이 우리가 각각의 프로젝트를 만나는 방식입니다. 프로젝트의 목적, 프로세스, 표현은 각각의 프로젝트를 통해 새롭게 규정하고자 합니다. 이를 통해 각각의 클라이언트에게 또는 각각의 대지에게 정확히 맞추어진 디자인을 제안하고자 합니다.
동시에 이러한 디자인의 관점을 프로젝트의 온전한 구성에도 적용하고자 합니다. 경제적인 관점, 시공과 유지보수의 문제 역시 디자인과 별개의 문제가 아니며 새로운 관점과 의심, 재구성을 통한 우리의 방식으로 전체의 프로젝트를 A to Z 으로 아우르는 프로세스를 목표로 합니다.
StudioXO is a design studio that is active in all areas of space design such as architecture and interior design. We don’t follow the traditional way of treating space. It’s all about trying new things not just space, material, construction method. Rather than accepting the old way, we aim at a process that we reconstruct in our own way through suspicion and agonizing.
The way we meet each project is that there should be no limitation and regulations. The purpose, process and expression of the project are to be newly defined through each project. So we’re going to propose to each client, or to each site, a design that’s exactly right for each one.
At the same time, we want to apply this design perspective to the intact construction of the project. Economic perspectives, construction and maintenance are not separate from design. We aim at a process that encompasses the entire project A to Z in a new perspective, in our way through doubt and reconstruction.
